Law Enforcement Service Fee (LSF)
The Law Enforcement Service Fee grant provides state funding for local law enforcement agencies’ DUI enforcement operating costs. Funds are derived from fees paid by offenders convicted of Driving Under the Influence.
Annual LSF Grant Application
The Kentucky Justice and Public Safety Cabinet is now accepting applications for the annual Law Enforcement Service Fee (LSF) grant program.
Local law enforcement agencies may apply for LSF grants to support DUI enforcement efforts, including overtime, mileage and equipment. The grants are funded from a service fee imposed on DUI offenders throughout the Commonwealth.
Respondents should note that the time period for submitting applications is opening and closing later than in prior years. Applications are now available, and the submission deadline is March 31, 2016.
