JAG Application Review Process

​Based on population and crime rates, $1.6 million in federal funds has been allocated to Kentucky from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program, which is the leading source of federal justice funding to agencies serving the criminal justice system, to hire additional personnel and/or purchase equipment, supplies, contractual support, training, technical assistance and information systems. 

The funding application is now open for review and public comment for 30 days expiring at 11:59 p.m. EST on August 31, 2023.
